Challan are done manually with pen and paper on the traffic premises now a days it is often tedious and takes a lot of time. Sometimes it turns into the corruption. Because traffic police write something else on challan paper and pay the government something else.
The project detects any signal break by the vehicle on the traffic signals generate the e-challan through implementation of programming and hardware mechanism. A sensor is used to sense the vehicle which will try to break the signal. Sensor will be attached to the signals. Sensor will send message to a camera to take picture. Picture will be sent to our host. Host process images to find number.
Which send it to registered mobile number of owner of that vehicle as well as RTO (Regional transport office). Owner has to pay the challan amount to the RTO office or can pay online if linked to online payment system.
